11.0 Coach Licenses

From the Mossl Rules and Regulations Defining Coaching Licenses:

11.1 All persons who desire to be registered as coaches within M.O.S.S.L. must have the following minimum level of coaches' license and/or experience in the designated age groups before they are registered as coaches:

Head coaches Head Coaches Asst. coaches

Age Group

U-11 thru U-19

U-9 & U-10 age groups All ages

11.2 The various coaches' licenses and/or experience shall be divided into the following categories, (with Level 1 being the highest):

a) Level 1:

U.S.S.F. "A", "B", or "C" license, or
NSCAA Advanced National or National diploma, or
Any recognized foreign National "A" or "B" license

b) Level 2:

U.S.S.F. "D" license, or
U.S.S.F. National Youth License, or
4 Years of collegiate coaching experience or
6 years high school varsity coaching experience

c) Level 3:

U.S.S.F. "E" license,
NSCAA Advanced Regional diploma, (a.k.a. NSCAA Junior Level VI) or
2 years collegiate coaching experience, or
3 years high school varsity coaching experience, or
has participated as a player on a USSF National team at the U-18 level or higher.

d) Level 4:

U.S.S.F. You Module II or
U.S.S.F. "F" license or
NSCAA Youth Diploma (or its predecessor - NSCAA State diploma)
